Trading for Good provides funding, education and support for social entrepreneurs and community businesses across England.
Community businesses in the South West can apply to take part in the Trading for Good programme starting 31 March 2026 and running until 30 September 2026.
This is an online programme designed to support community businesses to strengthen their impact through enterprise. The programme will help participants to develop and expand their businesses in order to generate income to be invested in the community. The course involves learning from the insights of community business leaders and experts, and working as part of a support network alongside facilitators and specialist coaches.
Entrepreneurs taking part in the programme will also receive a Match Trading grant of up to £4,000 to assist with increasing their trading income. To claim the full grant, businesses will need to show that their trading income has increased by £4,000 over the year.
