The Speech Language and Hearing Foundation makes donations to promote education, therapy and research for children who have difficulties with hearing, speech and language. Grants can be awarded for projects to support:
- children who have hearing impairment, speech delay, language or communication difficulties, or who have complex needs
- medical innovation and new developments relating to these children
- research in all topics relating to these children.
The foundation awards a small number of grants each year ranging from £3,000 to £20,000. Registered and exempt charities can apply; the priority is to support small national or local charities.
