Sasha Foundation

The Sasha Foundation provides grants for charitable work to support young people in the UK and for education and healthcare programmes in the third world. Within these themes, the focus is as follows:

Young people in the UK – to support young people who are suffering from depression and mental health issues or who are confronting drug abuse issues

Education and healthcare projects and programmes in the third world – with a bias towards education for young women

The Sasha Foundation accepts applications from charities and not-for-profit organisations, with the priority being to support grassroots community groups and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations. Larger charities are not normally supported.

Grants can be awarded towards the costs of maintaining, expanding or providing new services, with an emphasis on quality and effectiveness. Most grants are for amounts under £10,000 and can be for up to 50% of total project costs. Charities can apply for support with general running costs while other types of organisation will need to have a specific project.
