Postcode Local Trust

APPLY BY 8 SEPTEMBER 2025

The Postcode Local Trust supports smaller charities and good causes in the west of England. Round 3 is opening soon and there are several important changes to the funding themes, size of grants and which organisations can apply.

Your organisation’s main aims and objectives must fit with one of four funding themes:

  • enabling participation in the arts
  • preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
  • supporting marginalised groups and/or tackling inequality
  • improving mental health (active support for specific mental health issues)

You can now apply for up to £50,000 over a three-year period

Only registered charities, CICs (with an asset lock) and CBSs can apply.

Your income in the most recent financial year must be between £10,000 and £1 million.

Priority will be given to:

  • organisations with an annual income of £250,000 and below
  • projects for communities that rank as being within the top 15% in the English Indices of Deprivation*
  • groups that are led by and provide services for marginalised groups

The Postcode Local Trust is working with partner organisations to offer alternative grant opportunities for organisations that are no longer eligible to apply direct to the Trust. Further details will be published in Devon Funding News once more information is available.
