Reach for the Sky Challenge Fund 2025

The Reach for the Sky Challenge Fund aims to raise the profile of aviation careers and remove barriers to access, so that the sector can build a workforce fit for the future. It is a joint initiative of the Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority.

There is a total of £750,000 available to support not-for-profit schemes that provide an entry point for young people from underprivileged backgrounds or under-represented groups into the aviation/aerospace industry.

The scheme will provide funding for outreach projects that:

  • inspire the next generation of aviation professionals, championing the opportunities available within the sector
  • reach individuals who would not otherwise be aware of opportunities available within the aviation sector
  • have a broad impact by reaching and engaging multiple people

Projects can last between 3 and 12 months and should be delivered on a not-for-profit basis. One-off events will also be considered.
