Solidarity Fund

The National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) is launching its new Solidarity Fund on 11 June 2025. The fund will provide long-term core funding for up to ten years to organisations tackling the root causes of poverty, disadvantage and discrimination. It is anticipated that around ten organisations will receive funding in the first year.

The principles at the heart of the Solidarity Fund are to shift power, tackle structural inequality, and build community resilience. The funding is therefore intended to help communities to take the lead in shaping fairer systems. This includes: finding long-term solutions to poverty and discrimination; ensuring that people affected by injustice have the skills and resources to make a change; developing networks and support structures to challenge inequality; and developing knowledge and influence in order to make lasting systemic changes.

The NLCF is holding a series of webinars in June to provide more information about the programme. You can find out more and sign up on the NLCF website.
