Local arts and heritage organisations can apply for a small grant from The Arts Society. The funding is for UK registered charities and can be used to support a wide range of activities to introduce people of all ages and backgrounds to and engage them in, artistic experience and practice.
Grants up to £2,000 are available for grassroots arts, crafts and heritage projects at local level: these can include training and skills projects; displays, training or conservation activities for museums and galleries; or projects involving local theatres and performing arts spaces and groups. The Arts Society is looking for well-managed, sustainable projects that make a difference to people’s lives.
The funding is for projects only and cannot be used for capital expenditure or core costs.
