Loans are available to co-operatives and social enterprises from Co-operative and Community Finance. There is currently a funding pot of over £4m which is available to those who practise or support the principles of co‑operation, social ownership, and sustainable development.
You can borrow between £10,000 and £150,000 for a range of purposes including setting up a new co-op or community business, growing an existing community business, purchasing or improving a property and buying equipment.
Co-operative and Community Finance is open to worker co-operatives, housing co-operatives, community businesses, employee-owned businesses, social enterprises and democratically-run charities.
