• Safeguarding training guide for early years and childcare practitioners (updated August 2025)

You will find a range of safeguarding training including: Safeguarding and Child Protection Core (all early years and childcare practitioners) – this can be undertaken either as eLearning or as a virtual course, as well as the Safeguarding and child protection enhanced (DSL/DDSL) training (online or in person) (this is for those with safeguarding responsibilities such as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
