Equality, diversity and inclusion awareness training: fully funded opportunity for early years settings
Early years providers are invited to take advantage of a fully funded equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) awareness training webinar. The training is designed to support early years practitioners in embedding inclusive practice, meeting their responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010, and creating environments where every child and family feels valued, respected, and included.

Guidance for teachers completing the EYFS profile
The new Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Handbook was published on the 17th of September. This guidance is intended to help teachers to complete the EYFS profile assessment. We are also running fully funded workshops in October.
Early years qualifications list (EYQL)
The EYQL shows all the qualifications that are approved by the Department for Education (DfE) as full and relevant for working as a qualified member of staff in an early years setting in England. It is now available as an online web view format which replaces the previous spreadsheet-based version and provides a more accessible way for users to search, view and understand qualification information online.

A new Information Sharing Duty Statutory Guidance came into effect in September 2026, bringing greater clarity about when information should be shared to help safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
