Case Study

Chittlehamholt, Satterleigh and Warkleigh Maintenance Works

Chittlehamholt country road with hedges and trees either side

Chittlehamholt, Satterleigh and Warkleigh Parish Council received funding of £2000.00 from the Highway Maintenance Community Enhancement Fund (HMCEF).

The funding was used to remove soil deposits on the verge to allow water to drain from the road surface.  The removal of soil deposits reduces blocked drainage and levels of standing water and as such, prevents damage to the road surface during the winter months.
