It was clarified that no official announcement or timeline has been provided.

Staff were acknowledged for the distress caused by learning this through unofficial channels.


Oliver McGowan Autism Awareness Training

Discussion on rollout and funding of mandatory training for health and social care staff.

Interest noted from emergency services, but expansion depends on funding.


NHS ICB Update

Annual LD Health Checks Audit:

The Brook Inpatient Unit:

76% of eligible individuals received checks.

Quality varied; checklist developed from feedback.

Next steps include interviews and peer reviews.

Tours underway at new 10-bed unit for individuals with LD/autism and mental health needs.

Reasonable Adjustment Digital Flag:

A board game was developed to train providers.

Digital flag being implemented in patient records to reflect adjustment needs.

Learning Disability Friendship Groups:
