Wembury Definitive Map Review – Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parish of Wembury in the South Hams.

We are now consulting on the investigation of two proposals for changing the Definitive Map in Wembury.

For more information please see the consultation schedule and maps below.

Maps showing existing public rights of way, and the proposals to modify the Definitive Map, are also available for inspection during office hours at the Public Rights of Way Service, Lucombe House, County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD.

If anyone has further evidence in support of or against the proposals shown or any additional suggestions to make concerning other alterations to the Definitive Map for Wembury parish, please contact us by 10 May 2019.
