Uffculme Primary School: Proposal to change the age range

Update September 2024: The Department for Education’s Regions Group has approved the proposal to change the age range of Uffculme Primary School from 4-11 to 2-11. This took effect from September 2024.

Uffculme Primary School is working with Uffculme Preschool with a view to the preschool provision becoming part of the school. This should enable us to improve transition arrangements for our children and provide the preschool with additional educational and business support through the school and the Trust.

In order to do this, Uffculme Primary School need to seek permission from the Department for Education (DfE) to change the age range for the school to include younger children (from 2 years old). Before applying for this change, we would like to ensure that this would be supported by our community and would welcome your views.
