School admissions consultations 2026/27: Academies within Dartmoor MAT and Plymouth CAST MAT
Devon County Council is consulting on school admission and transport arrangements from 2026. This includes the consultations for schools that are their own admission authority. Please see School admissions, transport and relevant areas consultation 2026/27 – Have Your Say This consultation ends on the 10 January 2025 (apart from The King’s School which ends on 13 January 2025).
Further to this, please note the following proposed changes, the consultation for which is open until the 31 January 2025. The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust and Plymouth CAST Multi Academy Trust consultations relate to all of their academies in Devon and other Local Authority areas.

All arrangements must comply with the Department for Education’s School Admissions Code. You can comment on any of the proposals by emailing schoolsadmissionpolicy-mailbox@devon.gov.uk or by writing to Admissions Policy Consultation, Room L60, County Hall, Exeter EX2 4QG or by email or letter to the school or schools you would like to comment on.
If you think that any maintained school or academy’s arrangements are unlawful or not in compliance with the School Admissions Code or law relating to admissions, you can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator through the GOV.UK website. You have until 15 May to contact the adjudicator if you have an objection.
