Sampford Peverell Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parish of Sampford Peverell in Mid Devon.

We are now consulting on the investigation of three proposals for changing the Definitive Map in Sampford Peverell.

For more information please see the Notice of Consultation, Proposals Schedule and maps below.

Maps showing the existing public rights of way in the parish and details of the proposals are also available for inspection by appointment at Mid Devon District Council Offices, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton (during office hours); the Public Rights of Way Section, Devon County Council, Lucombe House, County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter EX2 4QD, (during office hours); the Globe Inn, Lower Town, Sampford Peverell during opening hours; and by arrangement with the Sampford Peverell Parish Clerk.

Anyone who has any evidence for or against or wishes to make any comments relevant to the proposal made or has any other proposals to make concerning alterations or additions to the Definitive Map for Sampford Peverell parish, is asked to send their evidence/comments by the 15th September 2018
