Pinhoe C of E Primary School: Change of Age Range consultation

Update April 2022

The Governing Body of Pinhoe C of E Primary School, following consultation, has approved the proposal to lower the age range from 4-11 to 2-11 from September 2022.

The school currently has a Governor-run Pre-School. The pre-school from September will become part of the school, operating as a Nursery Class, and the children in the nursery will be registered on the school’s roll.

The Governing Body of Pinhoe Church of England Primary School is consulting on a proposal to lower the age range of the school from 4-11 years to 2-11 years of age from September 2022.

The school has early years places that are currently run as a Governor run Pre School. The preschool is situated within the grounds of the school in a purpose-built building.

This proposal is concerned with the pre-school becoming part of the school rather than operating as an extended service.

If the proposal is approved by the governing body following this consultation, the preschool will become a Nursery Class and children in the nursery will be registered on the school’s roll.
