Colyford (Footpath No. 7) Definitive Map Modification Order 2023

Devon County Council was directed by the Secretary of State to determine an application which seeks to add a public footpath between Whitwell Lane and Holyford Lane in Colyton(now Colyford) parish to the Definitive Map. Please see schedule and map below for details.

This application was refused at the PRoW Committee on 30 June 2022 but the applicant has successfully appealed this decision – the Inspector’s Decision is below. As a result of this decision Devon County Council have made a Definitive Map Modification Order to add the footpath to the Definitive Map which was published on 2 August 2023 – please see Order and Notice below.

The Order was objected to and so was referred to the Secretary of State for determination.
