Hockworthy Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parish of Hockworthy in Mid Devon.

We are now consulting on the investigation of one proposal for changing the Definitive Map in Hockworthy.

For more information please see the consultation schedule and maps below.

Maps showing existing public rights of way, and the proposal to modify the Definitive Map, are also available for inspection during office hours at the offices of Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton; at the Public Rights of Way Service, Lucombe House, County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD; and at the Staplecross Inn, Hockworthy during opening hours.

If anyone has further evidence in support of or against the proposal shown or any additional suggestions to make concerning other alterations to the Definitive Map for Hockworthy parish, please contact us by 10 January 2020.
