Ellen Tinkham School Exeter

Update: One response has been received to the consultation from an Exeter City Councillor who considered it a really positive proposal and was pleased to hear of the potential use of Bodley House which has remained empty for some time. The proposal will now proceed to the next stage of publication of a Brief Notice.

Devon County Council is consulting on expanding provision at Ellen Tinkham School in Exeter from 131 to 155 places for boys and girls aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs with effect from Autumn 2016.

Bodley House, Wayside Crescent, Exeter, a former care home in DCC ownership, will be used to support the expansion of special educational needs provision.
