Devon County Council Parent and Carers Childcare Survey 2025

Are you a parent or carer? Whether you currently use childcare or not, your voice counts! 

Please take part in our short survey to help the early years and childcare team at Devon County Council to plan and make sure that there is enough childcare available in Devon.

Even if you have completed previous surveys, please complete this survey so we can look at changes to childcare demand over time.

The more replies we receive the clearer we can be about what childcare is needed, at what times, in which places and for specific ages of children.

This year’s survey is particularly important as the funded entitlements for working parents, with children from nine months until starting school, will increase to 30 hours from September 2025. We need to understand the demand for places to make sure that everyone who wants a place can get one.
