Broadhembury Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parish of Broadhembury in East Devon.

We are now consulting on the investigation of three proposals for changing the Definitive Map in Broadhembury.

For more information please see the consultation schedule and maps below.

Maps showing existing public rights of way, and the proposals to modify the Definitive Map, are also available for inspection by appointment with the clerk to Broadhembury Parish Council; and during office hours at the offices of East Devon District Council, Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton EX14 1EJ and at the Public Rights of Way Service, Lucombe House, County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD.

If anyone has further evidence in support of or against the proposals shown or any additional suggestions to make concerning other alterations to the Definitive Map for Broadhembury parish, please contact us by 6 September 2019.
