Bampton Definitive Map Review Informal Consultation

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 requires the County Council to keep the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way under continuous review and to make modifications where it appears that routes should be added, regraded, amended or deleted. A review of the Definitive Map is currently being undertaken in the parish of Bampton in Mid Devon.

We are now consulting on the investigation of five proposals for changing the Definitive Map in Bampton.

For more information please see the notice, schedule and maps below.

Maps showing existing public rights of way, and proposals to modify the Definitive Map, are also available for inspection during office hours at: Mid Devon District Council Offices, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton; the Public Rights of Way Service, Lucombe House, County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD; and at Bampton Library, Station Road, Bampton EX16 9NG.

If anyone has further evidence in support of or against the proposals (4 and 5) shown or any additional suggestions to make concerning other alterations to the Definitive Map for Bampton parish, please contact us by 15 September 2019.
