Co-production Autumn Update

Back to Promoting Co-production in Adult Social Care…
9th December Workshop

A workshop was requested by the The Projects and Program Team to be delivered at their monthly team meeting. The wanted to increase their knowledge and to learn more ways to work co-productively, including finding better ways of engaging with people who use their services.

Joint Engagement Forum (JEF) Involvement

There was a co-production update at the recent Joint Engagement Forum, given by members of The Co-production Working Group. They talked about progress and achievements so far. There were also positive examples of co-productive work given from various local organisations. The group agreed that these examples could be used in a future co-production training.

Changes to the Co-production Network Meetings

From 2025 we will be changing our Co-production Network sessions. We will now have themed network meetings, including a celebration of co-production work; some of the themes already suggested are challenges of co-productive working, the benefits of co-production and evidence of good practice.

Jargon Busters

The group met on the 2nd December and started the process of filming their video to help recruit new members to join the Learning Disability Partnership Board. The group began recording their individual lines and general involvement in the video, we will share the video once edited in the new year.
