  The Pip Centre, South Molton

  The Pip Centre, South Molton, in partnership with Devon County Council, is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from established and/or new Early Years and Childcare providers to operate from The Pip Centre, South Molton.

  This is a unique opportunity to establish or expand high-quality early years provision in an area where there is clear demand for places for children aged 0–4 years.

  • 1 x sleep room
  • 1 x office space
  • 1 x outside garden area

  Lustleigh area

  Following the closure of Lustleigh Orchard Preschool and Playgroup at the end of May 2026, there is now an increased need for early‑years places in the area.

  Our Early Years Locality Team is actively exploring potential venues for a new nursery and supporting families who have told us they are currently unable to find childcare.

  Lustleigh sits between Moretonhampstead and Bovey Tracey and serves surrounding communities including North Bovey and Manaton. Identifying suitable premises can be challenging, particularly as the village hall previously used by the preschool may no longer be an option.

  New nursery opportunity: Great Torrington former childrens centre building

  An opportunity is available for childcare providers to establish provision within the former children’s centre buildings in Great Torrington, where additional places all year for 0–4-year-olds (8am–6pm) are needed.

  A competitive tender process will be launched, with the application pack available below. The pack includes full details of buildings, leases, required places, and photographs.

  Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview and deliver a presentation.
