How to register for the EHC Hub

Once you submit a request for an assessment, you will be asked to register for the EHC Hub. You may also be invited to register on the Hub if you already have an EHCP and and there is a review soon to take place.

By registering on the Hub, you will be notified when:

  • a decision is made about the assessment
  • a draft plan is issued (with the option to comment)
  • the final plan is issued

You will also be able to view all the advice submitted as part of the assessment.

Check your email

If you have been invited to use the EHC Hub you will receive an email asking you to register. Please check your junk, spam or deleted email folders if it doesn’t appear in your inbox.

Open the email and click the green button that says ‘Complete your registration’.

Create a password

You will then be asked to set up a secure password for the account.

Before you able to log into your account you will need to set up two factor authentication for additional security.

You can scan the QR code on your screen using a tablet or smartphone. This will set up and allow you to use an authenticator app.

Alternatively, you can choose to use SMS (text message) or a passphrase.

Set up SMS or passphrase

Text message

Type in your mobile phone number and click ‘Send code’. You will be sent a text message containing a code which will allow you to login into the Hub. You will sent a code each time you login to the Hub.

Passphrase

Choose a word or phrase as an additional password (you can add a hint to help you remember). Your passphrase needs to be at least 11 characters long and should ideally be one word only with no spaces and contain at least one capital letter and one number.

You will be asked for letters from this passphrase each time you log in.
