The full results of the North Devon district elections are now online. The parish council count is taking place today (Friday 3 May) and the results will be posted on our website as soon as they are available.

Following the election, no party has overall control of North Devon Council. 22 of the 42 seats available are needed to have overall control.

The Liberal Democrats have 21 seats, followed by the Conservatives with 11 seats, the Independents with 7 seats and the Green Party with 2 seats.

Councillors will decide who they appoint as leader of the council at the annual council meeting on 16 May.

The election for the Chittlehampton ward was delayed due to the death of a candidate. The election for this seat will take place on Thursday 13 June.
