The scheme was to procure and project manage a design<br>and build NEC contract for the construction of a footbridge across the A39 in Barnstaple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked with an Engineer to produce the contract drawings and pricing schedule for the Tender<br>process to enable the scheme to be procured and appoint a contractor. I also worked with the engineer<br>to develop planning drawings and statements to attain planning consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a contractor was appointed and the design accepted, the construction works were undertaken<br>and I was part of the site team that managed and supervised the construction phase. It was a really<br>interesting project with lots of problem solving and team work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I learnt a lot about bridge detailing and contract management.
