I\u2019ve been working for Devon County Council for almost three years having joined the Waste Management Team in 2016.<\/p>\n
As a commuter from the Torridge area to Exeter, Devon County Council are very supportive. Flexible working hours mean I can avoid the rush hour traffic and, now that we have laptops and Windows 10 software, I can work from home once a week. Flexible working hours are a great help too for balancing my work and home life.<\/p>\n
Within my role as Waste Management Officer (Operations), Devon County Council have greatly supported my career development. They\u2019ve funded a proportion of my Masters Degree studies and encouraged my attendance of industry seminars held by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management.<\/p>\n
