Our frontline management roles make a critical contribution by supporting our social workers to do their best for children and families daily.
Team managers have direct management responsibility for the allocation, oversight and quality assurance of the work undertaken within their team. They will promote and sustain good multi-professional and multi-agency working within their locality and engage across the community to promote the welfare and safety of children.
Assistant team managers will work with team managers to ensure the effective running of social work teams, including oversight and
quality assurance.
You’ll be encouraged to learn through supervision and restorative practice. In addition, we have many frontline manager development opportunities that will help develop your knowledge and skills so you can grow into future roles.
