The diagram shows that student social workers can join us as newly qualified social workers after completing their degree and after successful application and interview (NDSW). NQSWs then, on completion of the ASYE programme, become experienced social workers. Then depending on your career aspirations, you can develop further into an advanced social worker or an assistant team manager. Further progression leads to a choice between team manager or consultant social worker. Finally, the career pathway shows a choice between area manager or principal social worker.
