The trainer on your course will assess your basic life-saving skills and will issue you a certificate of competence. Keep this in your Induction folder.

The training providers who deliver the courses have assured us that they meet the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
From December 2017, life support courses will include use of defibrillators. These are available in the community, not in your workplace.
