If you pay for work to be carried out in your home or garden, it is the responsibility of the tradesperson you have employed to dispose\u00a0of any waste and the cost of this should be\u00a0agreed and quoted for before work begins.<\/p>\n
You should check that they have a valid waste carrier’s licence<\/a>\u00a0and ask\u00a0them to provide details of where the waste will be taken.<\/p>\n Businesses must dispose of their waste responsibly.
