{"id":38304,"date":"2026-10-09T11:06:23","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T10:06:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/?p=38304"},"modified":"2026-10-09T11:06:26","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T10:06:26","slug":"funding-98-schools-funding-consultation-nb-correction-to-previously-published-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/funding-98-schools-funding-consultation-nb-correction-to-previously-published-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding 98: Schools Funding Consultation \u2013 NB Correction to Previously Published Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to make schools aware that incorrect information was included within the recent funding consultation and supporting materials relating to AnyComms+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consultation documentation and presentation slides provided by Devon County Council at the locality events incorrectly stated that AnyComms+ would form part of the proposed movement between funding blocks and\/or the Central School Services Block (CSSB) ongoing responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was incorrect. The Department for Education has confirmed that this is not a permissible funding approach. As a result, AnyComms+ will not be funded through these arrangements. Instead, schools will be invoiced directly by Devon County Council for the service from 2026\/27 onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whilst the method of funding method will change, the underlying principle remains the same. Schools will not be financially disadvantaged as a result of this change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We sincerely apologise for this error and for any confusion or inconvenience it may have caused.
