You can find details on how to access your account here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/administration-and-finance\/finance\/maintained-school-data\/\">Maintained School Data &#8211; Support for schools and settings<\/a>. We have made a few changes and published updated guidance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Using the Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report has 2 main sections which displays data from either Finest up to 2024\/25 or Unit4 from 2025\/26 onwards:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"415\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image.png 415w, https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image-300x132.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You are able to choose from several reports within each section. The Unit4 Finance Data for Schools section has duplicates on many of the reports, one using the old Finest codes and one using the new Unit 4 codes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Transaction Summary Report \u2013 shows the total amount per combination of Manage, Activity and Item (for Finest) or Account Code and Cost Centre (of Unit 4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detailed Transaction Listing \u2013 shows each transaction separately. A new addition is invoice number, so you can easily find your payments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spend by Period<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spend by Entity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WGA Entities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trial Balance \u2013 please see the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/devoncc.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/s\/PublicDocs\/Education\/ERx0VQW7Vp1Dr85JcJzx-h0BnZogLKhf92_1jz8xemjKWg?e=DDBk4y\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Quick Card<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payroll Report<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Code Conversion \u2013 While schools are still on Finest codes, most of DCC are now using Unit4 codes, so please convert your code before you contact them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Each report has filters<\/strong>\u00a0at the top. Once you click on a filter you can either scroll to item you want and click on it to select it or type in the search field and then click on the one you want to select.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"210\" height=\"271\" src=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32209\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To clear your selection<\/strong>, move your mouse over to the top right hand corner of the dropdown with the selection in and a little eraser will appear. Click on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"282\" height=\"120\" src=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32212\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To download your data<\/strong>, move your mouse over the data and you will see the following pop up in the top right hand corner (please note that on the detailed transaction tab this option is partially hidden by the Payee Name filter but you can still click on it) :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"244\" height=\"78\" src=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32213\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select more option by click the ellipsis (the 3 dots) and you will see the following menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"169\" height=\"219\" src=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/166\/2025\/05\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32214\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on export data and then select Data with current layout before you click export.
