{"id":31166,"date":"2025-02-26T09:21:58","date_gmt":"2025-02-26T09:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/?p=31166"},"modified":"2025-02-26T09:21:58","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T09:21:58","slug":"administration-157-future-finance-project-update-february-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/administration-157-future-finance-project-update-february-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Administration 157: Future Finance Project Update &#8211; February 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Future Finance Project Update February 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our last update, we mentioned that we were in the User Acceptance Testing phase and had a number of critical tasks to complete.&nbsp; These included testing all the functions of our Unit 4 configuration as well as testing the integration of services\u2019 systems through the Interface Hub. &nbsp;These have been completed and we have now moved to the <strong>Go-Live Phase<\/strong>.&nbsp; We will be transitioning between FINEST and Unit 4 at the end of March, targeting opening our new system to users on <strong>Monday 7 April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools work processes will substantially remain the same as today with some reports being accessible via the Power BI report (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/administration-and-finance\/finance\/maintained-school-data\/\">Maintained School Data &#8211; Support for schools and settings<\/a>) at any time of the month as was previously shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As iTrent will be updating it\u2019s cost codes there will be communication sent out shortly on the changes and how to find out what the new equivalent cost codes are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key dates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Date<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>Task<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Wednesday 26<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/td><td>Last day to submit 2024\/25 invoices to DCC for payment via SCRAPS\/DTCS Apps. All submissions to be made by <strong>4PM<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Wednesday 26<sup>th<\/sup> March<\/td><td>Last day to submit 2024\/25 claims for imprest accounts \u2013 during the Finest to Unit 4 migration no reimbursements are possible for Imprest account claims. Ensure you are up to date and that the account is back to the level of your float to allow March procurement card transactions. This will prevent your imprest bank account being overdrawn when the procurement card balance is charged to the account. All submissions to be made by <strong>5PM<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Thursday 27<sup>th<\/sup> March&nbsp;<\/td><td>Last payment run in FINEST.&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Thursday 27<sup>th<\/sup> March \u2013 Tuesday 1<sup>st<\/sup> April<\/td><td>Identify accruals to be included in 2024\/25 as no payments are possible while data is being migrated from FINEST to Unit 4.
