You can find\u00a0further information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/senior-mental-health-lead-training\" rel=\"noopener\">regarding the training on the Govt website,<\/a>\u00a0including what it covers,\u00a0who it\u2019s intended for,\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinecollections.des.fasst.org.uk\/fastform\/senior-mental-health-leads\" rel=\"noopener\">how to\u00a0apply for a grant\u00a0to access a Department for Education (DfE) quality assured course<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The application system does state a closing date of the 25 October, however, paragraph 4.3 in the DfE guidance (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/senior-mental-health-lead-training-grant-funding\/senior-mental-health-lead-training-conditions-of-grant--3#terms-on-which-the-grant-is-allocated-to-eligible-schools-and-colleges\" rel=\"noopener\">linked here<\/a>) reads that grant applications will be considered on a first come first served basis after the 25 October deadline and that settings must book onto a quality assured course.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Schools and colleges can now apply for a grant to access senior lead training for mental health.
