{"id":2475,"date":"2021-10-01T14:06:08","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T13:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/educationfinance\/?p=2475"},"modified":"2022-08-09T16:06:47","modified_gmt":"2022-08-09T15:06:47","slug":"funding-62-consultation-schools-funding-arrangements-2022-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/funding-62-consultation-schools-funding-arrangements-2022-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding 62: Consultation &#8211; Schools Funding Arrangements 2022-23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please be advised that the Consultation 2022-23 documents are now live for review via the Education Finance web pages: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/supportforschools\/finance\/consultations\">Consultation Website<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Consultation &#8211; Virtual Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking will now close on Tuesday 5th<\/strong><strong>\u00a0October 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Online bookings can be made via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=gzehjWjLP0S7S5l_d_1b-zPa59jr-JFNmABTpl2WxXxURFU5RlU1MEJUN002RTMxM09LM0VCUVlNMS4u\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Online Booking Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022-23, as in previous years, the local authority will continue to set a local schools funding formula, in consultation with its schools, under what is known as a \u2018soft\u2019 National Funding Formula (NFF). \u00a0The government are currently seeking views on moving to a \u2018hard\u2019 NFF from 2023-24, which will determine school funding allocations directly, rather than a local funding formula.<\/p>\n<p>As we continue to work through the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the local authority acknowledges the need to make the consultation and information events via a virtual setting again to allow people to attend.
