We know that classroom teachers are at the heart of schools\u2019 response to meeting individual needs: excellent teaching is the key.\u201d (Edward Timpson, former Minister of State for children and families)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/devoneducationservices.co.uk\/products\/403\/\" rel=\"noopener\">SEND review<\/a> enables schools to evaluate the effectiveness of their provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities and helps to ensure that all children and young people, in all educational settings, achieve their very best, including the skills and qualifications that they need for a successful transition to the next phase of their education. The <a href=\"https:\/\/devoneducationservices.co.uk\/products\/403\/\" rel=\"noopener\">SEND review<\/a> consists of a multi-step process and is led by skilled and highly experienced leaders of SEND with successful backgrounds in SEND, leadership and school improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All <a href=\"https:\/\/devoneducationservices.co.uk\/products\/403\/\" rel=\"noopener\">SEND reviews<\/a> are bespoke, building on the school\u2019s own self-evaluation and reflect the school\u2019s own requirements. The <a href=\"https:\/\/devoneducationservices.co.uk\/products\/403\/\" rel=\"noopener\">SEND reviews<\/a> are a two-day package and provide a powerful opportunity for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improving the quality of provision of SEND<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporating a whole-school approach to SEND<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting SENCos in the development of their role<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring the school\u2019s SEN statutory obligations are met<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This will support the raising of standards and achievement of all pupils. The outcomes of this review can be used by the school to prioritise areas for SEN development contributing to the school\u2019s self-evaluation and improvement plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testimonials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The feedback given\u2026 throughout the day was delivered in a supportive way with things that needed to be implemented straight away. As a school we really value the opinion of experts in the field to support us in our SEF and then impact on future decisions and on our SIP. I would also like to thank (the Advisor) for her support and challenge during the review process. The manner in which she carried out the review was very well received.
