Although the book and resources were written for this specific context, they are still relevant to use as part of your English writing curriculum. However, as these plans were designed for children returning after lockdown, there are a number of assessment activities which may not be relevant now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Year 6 and 7 transition sequences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Year 6: The Book of Hopes &#8211; a teaching sequence to celebrate hope and support transition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This teaching sequence was writing specifically to support transition to Year 7.
