Technology and staying safe<\/strong><\/a> &nbsp;<\/td><td>I know that I can search and access videos (you tube etc) about topics I am interested in, but that some access is restricted.<\/td><td>I am aware that I can access the internet and link up with friends I understand that there are dangers associated with being online I understand that passwords should be kept secret<\/td><td>I can connect with my family on social media \u2013 Instagram, Facebook I can explain to others how to stay safe online I know how to connect my hearing devices to the phone\/laptop etc I know how to contact the emergency services I know how to connect my ALD to the board in the classroom.<\/td><td>I understand there are different types of technology that help me to access: speech to text, VRS video relay service\/ online interpreters I can explain to my teachers how to use the ALD effectively.<\/td><td>I am a responsible user of technology. I know where to get help in the future if I need support using technology or accessing things online.
