Multi-agency working may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>guidance from <strong>external professionals<\/strong> such as the Education Inclusion Service, Attendance Improvement Officers, SEND advisory teaching teams, mental health support teams, education key workers, and educational psychologists. <strong>Note<\/strong>: not all schools have access to all these services.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>referrals to <strong>additional Early Help or Health services<\/strong> to support the school, the family, and the pupil, with clear timelines for these referrals.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) have created a really useful resource for schools: <a href=\"https:\/\/educationendowmentfoundation.org.uk\/education-evidence\/leadership-and-planning\/supporting-attendance\" rel=\"noopener\">Supporting school attendance.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It may be necessary to look outside the school to provide the targeted support that a pupil regularly missing school needs.
