Enter the hours in each of the relevant boxes and click Save and Validate (top left of screen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: if you have used Save and Validate on a Previous Census file, when running a New Census, you will have an option on this Panel for \u201cReset to Latest Census,\u201d which will enter the Hours that you have set in the Previous Census file \u2013 so you do not have to enter them all again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The early years hours in the Pupil Reconciliation panel can be exported via the \u2018Grid actions\u2019 options in the panel.&nbsp; A pupil listing can be exported as an excel or pdf document where the data in the census can then be checked.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Early Years Funding Information \u2013 pupil record<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All information relating to funding eligibility is captured in the Funding and Allowances Panel of the pupil\u2019s record;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility code<\/strong> &#8211; this code must be entered in the pupil\u2019s record via Student Profile &gt; Funding &amp; Allowances (click on + if this panel is blank) &gt; Additional Information &gt; Eligibility Code<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 year old basis for funding<\/strong> &#8211; recorded via Student Profile &gt; Funding &amp; Allowances (click on + if this panel is blank) &gt; Additional Information &gt; 3 options are listed for the basis for 2 year old funding. Please tick the correct option and click Save, the criteria will then appear in the \u2018Funding &amp; Allowances\u2019 panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EYPP receipt \u2013 <\/strong>the pupil\u2019s record must include an Early Years Pupil Premium record via&nbsp; Student Profile &gt; Funding &amp; Allowances &gt; Early Years Pupil Premium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EYPP basis for funding <\/strong>\u2013 the appropriate EYPP reason needs to be captured in the pupil\u2019s record, via&nbsp; Student Profile &gt; Funding &amp; Allowances &gt; Early Years Pupil Premium, which provides the relevant receipt reasons: &nbsp;economic criteria, other known reason (being in care, having left care), both reasons (economic and other) and unknown basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disability Access Fund (DAF)<\/strong> &#8211; this is recorded via Student Profile &gt; Funding &amp; Allowances &gt; Additional Information. The part-time status of pupils is listed in the census \u2018OnRoll Students Report\u2019. The two reports can be run from Reports &gt; Census &gt; School &gt; <em>select report name<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  6. <strong>Early years hours and the part-time indicator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The part-time indicator is based upon whether the pupil is attending education provision for 10 sessions a week, i.e. morning and afternoon sessions 5 days a week. A pupil attending 9 (or fewer) sessions is part-time. A pupil attending education for 10 sessions a week will be full time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: The part time indicator is specific to the pupil, not the school.
