{"id":22335,"date":"2023-10-09T16:40:45","date_gmt":"2023-10-09T15:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings-new\/?page_id=22335"},"modified":"2025-02-05T16:15:06","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T16:15:06","slug":"employee-benefits-platform","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/support-schools-settings\/administration-and-finance\/personnelandpayroll\/employee-benefits-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"Employee benefits platform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are excited to launch our new employee benefits platform in partnership with Vivup, bringing together our employee benefits into one easy-to-access place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new platform supports the Council\u2019s People First strategy and corporate parenting responsibilities, as well as our financial sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also partnered with Vivup to introduce some new benefits that are designed to support your physical, financial and mental wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note for school staff:<\/strong> Registration is available for school-based employees in Devon County Council-maintained schools, including schools whose staff are employed by the governors. It\u2019s easy to register, find out more below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s on offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lifestyle savings, including leisure and retail savings on supermarkets, fuel, days out and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Home and electronic items such as the latest laptops, toys, domestic appliances, furniture, DIY tools, mobile phones and more, through salary sacrifice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electric vehicle leasing with Tusker electric vehicles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cycle to work scheme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shared cost additional voluntary contributions (AVCs) for LGPS pension employees, with AVC wise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Childcare vouchers (only available to those currently accessing vouchers through Computershare)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing favourites: Devon Discounts and Kaarp discounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/devon.vivup.co.uk\" rel=\"noopener\">Vivup login page<\/a> to register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the relevant organisation option from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council Employees \u2013 LGPS Pension<\/strong><br>Select this option if you have a contract with DCC (not in a school) and pay into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or are eligible to pay into the LGPS. If you pay into the scheme this will show as a deduction on your payslip, and your contract will also reference this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council Employees \u2013 NHS Pension<\/strong><br>Select this option if you have a contract with DCC and pay into the NHS Pension Scheme or are eligible to pay into the NHS Pension Scheme. If you pay into the scheme this will show as a deduction on your payslip, and your contract will also reference this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council Employees \u2013 Teachers Pension<\/strong><br>Select this option if you have a contract with DCC (not in a school) and pay into the Teachers\u2019 Pension Scheme or are eligible to pay into the Teachers\u2019 Pension Scheme. If you pay into the scheme this will show as a deduction on your payslip, and your contract will also reference this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council \u2013 Casual Staff<\/strong><br>Select this option if you work through Temp Solutions as a casual member of staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council \u2013 Care Leavers, Foster Carers and Special Guardianship Carers<\/strong><br>Select this option if you are a care experienced young person, foster carer or special guardianship carer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council \u2013 Councillors<\/strong><br>Select this option if you are an elected Council member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Devon County Council Schools \u2013 LGPS Pension<\/strong><br>Select this option if you have a contract with a Devon maintained school and pay into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or are eligible to pay into the LGPS.
