{"id":6,"date":"2016-01-26T10:49:53","date_gmt":"2016-01-26T10:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/stovercountrypark\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2026-04-09T16:47:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T15:47:38","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/stovercountrypark\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Stover Country Park, owned by Devon County Council is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Local Nature Reserve.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Park contains 125 acres of woodland, lake and marsh, heathland, grassland and a substantial variety of wildlife. It is also designated as a dragonfly hotspot by the British Dragonfly Society.<\/p>\n<p>The Stover Centre is situated near the entrance of the park and consists of a private hire space, rangers\u2019 office and public toilets (open 9 am to 5 pm).<\/p>\n<p>We have a range of areas that are available for hire; for more information please go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/stovercountrypark\/visitor-information\/using-stover-as-a-venue\">using Stover as a venue<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional recreation resources include interpretation boards, an aerial walkway, a bird hide, walking routes, a car park and picnic areas. There is also a wealth of historical interest.<\/p>\n<p>A coffee van is present on site daily between 10 am and 4 pm selling hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you.
