{"id":1914,"date":"2022-09-30T05:00:35","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T04:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/stovercountrypark\/?page_id=1914"},"modified":"2026-04-09T14:25:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T13:25:18","slug":"restoring-stover-park-national-lottey-heritage-fund","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/stovercountrypark\/restoring-stover-park-national-lottey-heritage-fund","title":{"rendered":"Restoring Stover Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Conservation and improvement works at Stover Country Park<\/h2>\n<p>The Restoring Stover Project was made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) and aimed to create a better place for people, wildlife and heritage. With thanks to National Lottery players, work has been completed on: the extension of the current visitor centre and creation of the new community workshop; de-silting Stover Lake, re-establishing a section of the historic Serpentine Lake and carrying out repair and conservation work to the Granite Gatehouse. Alongside this work we have delivered an ambitious activity plan of community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>The Restoring Stover Project aimed to make the Country Park more resilient whilst enhancing its heritage and environment for people to engage with.
