Our events have limited places which must be booked in advance. It is essential that children booked onto a Children’s Activity have a responsible adult present throughout, with a maximum of 4 per adult. There is a car parking charge of £1.70 for 2 hours and £3.50 for all day (cash only). Charges apply from dawn until dusk. Unless otherwise stated please meet outside the Visitor Centre. |

Wed 13th: 6.30pm-9.30pm Denbury Hillfort Guided Walk Meet on Denbury Green (in front of the Union Inn) Walk Torbryan’s ancient valley path ending at Denbury Hillfort – the resting place of the Celtic King Geraint, according to local legend – where you can soak up the mystical atmosphere and take in the spectacular views at sunset. £4.50 per person |

Monday 25th: 10.30am – 12.30pm Guided Walk – Reedbed Systems Tour Join us on a guided walk around the reedbed systems to find out how and why they were developed and learn about the wildlife the area supports. No charge |

Sunday 17th July 2pm-4:30pm Guided Walk: Dragonflies of Stover Join a local expert and learn about the dragonflies and damselflies that live in the park. Bring close focus binoculars if you have them. No Charge |

Wednesday 3rd, 10th , 17th, 24th, 31st : 10.30am – 12.30pm Children’s Activity – Toddler Forest Fun Join us for some fun in the forest with a different session every Wednesday during the summer holidays. Activities will include bug hunting, learning about woodland wildlife, woodland crafts, natural play, marshmallow toasting and much more. Each session will be different, so you can book as many as you like. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy around the campfire at the end of the session. No charge. For ages 2 – 5 yrs. |

Thursday 4th: 10am-1pm Children’s Activity – Fire lighting and Campfire Cooking Learn how to light a fire and have a go at cooking your own lunch. £7 per person – includes baked potato, beans and marshmallows. Suitable for children aged 4 and over. |
