{"id":146,"date":"2016-08-09T16:42:47","date_gmt":"2016-08-09T15:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beta.devon.gov.uk\/styleguide\/?page_id=146"},"modified":"2016-09-23T16:21:47","modified_gmt":"2016-09-23T15:21:47","slug":"confirmation-pages","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.devon.gov.uk\/standards\/digital-design\/confirmation-pages\/","title":{"rendered":"Confirmation pages"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What is a confirmation page<\/h2>\n<p>A confirmation page should be displayed at the end of a form transaction, letting the user know that they have completed all related tasks and what will happen next.<\/p>\n<h2>What should be displayed<\/h2>\n<p>A confirmation page should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Confirmation of form completion.<\/li>\n<li>A reference number (if relevant).<\/li>\n<li>Details of what should happen next.<\/li>\n<li>Contact details for the service.<\/li>\n<li>Links to further information (were relevant).<\/li>\n<li>A prompt to provide feedback to the service.<\/li>\n<li>A way of saving a record or transaction (transactional forms only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below is an example of how this should be displayed:<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel\">\n<h3>Booking completed<\/h3>\n<p>Your booking reference number is: HDJ12345<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>What happens next?<\/h4>\n<p>Your referral will be passed on to the appropriate Care Direct Plus team to follow up.<\/p>\n<p>They may be in contact to confirm any further information and will make contact with individual you have referred via this form.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\">What did you think about this service?<\/a> (takes 30 sections)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>When not to use<\/h2>\n<p>For smaller contact or registration forms that are designed for a quick transaction flow, displaying a confirmation message above will be sufficient.
