EXPIRED Post-16 Autism Workforce Training

This training opportunity is open to all staff within schools 6th forms, FE Colleges, training providers, agencies and employers who work with and support Post 16 young people.

The programme will deliver the AET suite of Post 16 training modules in each of the 3 identified localities.

The programme draws on the National autism standards and competency framework to increase skills, knowledge and understanding, building capacity across the Post 16 workforce.

The programme will also enable and encourage multi-agency networking opportunities.

AET modules are:

  • raising awareness – 90 Mins
  • for practitioners – 1 Day
  • for managers – 1 Day
  • transition from School to College – 2.5 hours
  • progression framework – 2 hours

Cost: Free of charge as funded by Devon County and Torbay Councils and Health CCG
