Hemiplegia Training for Schools – Thursday 16 March, 2017 – Exeter Racecourse
Suitable for all Pre-School and School Staff, including Teachers, Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and Play Workers, this training covers what is hemiplegia and how it affects children in different areas of school life; information about the unseen social, behavioural and learning difficulties including some key signs to look out for; useful strategies and advice to overcome these difficulties; Question and Answer sessions where you can ask anything about your pupil’s particular needs and a pack with useful information resources.
Delivered by Hemihelp – a charity providing information, support and guidance for children and young people with hemiplegia, this course will enable you to support the education of children with hemiplegia, increases the potential for learning and personal development of children with hemiplegia and improves the communication between families and schools.
